Relay For Life
| As Realtors we know the importance of helping those in need and giving back to our communities. We volunteer and also support several local charities. One of our favorite causes is the American Cancer Society. Every year we attend the Relay For Life event in Coral Springs. It is always fun coupled with emotional moments to honor the people who have lost their cancer battle and for those still fighting. They also recognize the lucky ones who have overcome. At 9 PM, they always turn off the lights to expose colorful bags that line the track each with a lit candle inside. These bags are hand decorated by family members to honor someone who has cancer. A bag piper plays and a silent lap around the track allows everyone to reflect. It's quite moving. It takes alot of work to plan an event like this.
